Eligibility: Any single parent who is pursuing their education may apply for this scholarship opportunity, but minority students from Kentucky are preferred.

Amount: $10,000

Winners: 2 winners, $5,000 each

The Sodexo Stop Hunger Foundation has several grant and scholarship opportunities that recognize students working to fight hunger. Stephen J. Brady Hunger Scholarships, due Dec. 5, reward leaders of youth-led projects that drive awareness and mobilize youth in innovative ways. Student winners receive a $5,000 scholarship and $5,000 grant to the hunger-fighting organization of their choice.
